| When Grayson County vacated this building as its public offices in 1981 it was in serious disrepair and needed immediate attention. It was not until 1985 when Dan Baldwin purchased the building that some stabalization began. After the building was donated to the "People of Grayson County" in 1986 and the Courthouse Foundation was established a capital campaign began to raise the badly needed funds to continue repairs. Today this ongoing process has resulted in a building that has been featured in regional magazines, numerous newspaper articles and now stands as the Art & Cultural Center of Grayson County.
